The Descent

Five Layers of Deepvein

The deeper you go, the richer the rewards. But the mines remember who enters — and they don't always let you leave.

LAYER 1 — 100M

The Shallows

Crumbling wooden supports, iron ore, copper veins. The faint glow of surface light leaks through cracks above.

LAYER 2 — 400M

The Hollows

Cathedral-sized caverns with ancient Pickborn ruins. Gold veins line the walls. Something moves in the dark.

LAYER 3 — 900M

The Ember Depths

Lava rivers cut through the rock. Ancient forges still burn with OreLight. Only forged gear survives the heat.

LAYER 4 — 1,600M

The Crystal Tombs

Massive crystal formations. The Pickborn buried their greatest treasures here. The crystals sing in maddening frequencies.

LAYER 5 — ???

The Core

No one has mapped it. The OreLight moves on its own. The heart of Deepvein beats here, waiting.
