3,333 hooded miners. One buried kingdom. A currency made of light. This is the founding document of Deepvein: how it was built, how it rewards those who dig, and what waits at the Core.
Beneath the surface world of Pickborne Village lies a fractured kingdom: five layers of collapsed civilization, buried when the ancient miners dug too deep and struck the Core. What they found there still hums.
The Pickborne civilization was the first to mine OreLight, a crystalline energy that pulses like a heartbeat through the earth's veins. They forged empires from it. They built cities in its glow. Then, without warning, the Great Collapse buried them.
What remains of Deepvein now belongs to no one. The mines are unstable. The tunnels are silent. The OreLight is still down there, waiting.
You are not the first to descend. You will not be the last. But every miner who returns to the surface returns changed.
· Overworld Map
Surface tunnels. Safe for new miners. Iron, copper, and the first glimmers of OreLight.
Abandoned Pickborne tunnels. Structures still standing. Ghosts and gold in equal measure.
Volcanic strata. Molten forges. The old smiths worked here. Some are still working.
Burial grounds of the ancient miners. Their tools still glow. Do not disturb what sleeps here.
Where the OreLight is born. Where the Pickborne found what they should not have. Very few return.
Every Retro Miner is a hand-crafted 16-bit pixel character, procedurally generated with embedded rarity. Curated from 4,000 originals down to 3,333 through a rarity-weighted selection.
The collection lives on Robinhood Chain as an ERC-721 standard contract. Every miner carries a unique combination of Background, Body, and Eyes, plus injected rarity metadata (Rank, Score, Tier) that major marketplaces will read natively.
Rarity was not sprinkled in. It was earned: the 3,333 that made the cut scored highest on trait scarcity, embedded rarity hints, and the rare "EXTRA" body modifier. The 667 that didn't were rejected publicly. Transparent from day one.
· Retro Miners ####
Deepvein is divided. Four guilds. Four philosophies. Four ways to descend. Your miner will be aligned with one at contract deployment: a permanent, on-chain house.
The oldest of the four. Traditionalists. Craftsmen. They forge, repair, and endure. Iron miners carry the highest tool durability and the deepest wells of patience. When the Guild wins a season, forge costs drop for everyone in the house.
Mystics attuned to OreLight resonance. Seers find rare veins before anyone else. They mine slower but with precision, so every expedition returns richer. When Seers win a season, the guild receives amplified rare drop rates.
Smiths of the Ember Depths. Masters of the flame. Wardens forge legendary items with higher success rates and can salvage failed forges. A seasonal victory unlocks community-wide crafting bonuses for one full moon cycle.
The wild ones. Rogue prospectors who explore where others fear to. Crawlers get earlier access to sealed layers and can take higher-risk expeditions. When they win a season, all guilds gain a temporary layer-passage discount.
Retro Miners is a closed economic loop. Every action feeds the next. Every reward has a cost. Nothing escapes the cycle, not even the Legendaries.
Send your miner on 24-hour, 3-day, or 7-day runs. Deeper layers yield more $ORE, along with greater risk of gear damage.
Returned ore is sorted by rarity. Common ore stacks. Rare finds trigger events. Legendary discoveries are broadcast on-chain.
Spend $ORE at the Forge to craft, repair, or reroll. Every forge burns tokens. Every burn deepens the vein.
The loop is deliberately punishing at the edges. Legendaries can be lost in Layer V if unprepared. Repairs cost more than most expeditions return. This is not idle farming. This is craft.
$ORE is not a governance token pretending to be a game token. It is the working currency of Deepvein: earned in the dark, burned at the forge, staked in the Bank. Fixed supply. No VC allocation. More burn than mint from day one.
Every $ORE begins as raw ore chipped from a Deepvein wall. It is refined at the surface. It circulates through the Forge, the Bank, the Guild Halls. Most of it returns to the earth through burn mechanics, a deliberate design that avoids the inflation spiral that has ended most gaming tokens before it.
No public sale. No VC round. No private allocation. The token is either earned through gameplay or airdropped to real holders. Team allocation vests over 36 months behind a 12-month cliff.
For every 1 $ORE minted, we target 1.3 $ORE burned across the ecosystem. Tracked weekly. Published publicly. Reward rates adjust if the ratio slips. This is the number that keeps Deepvein alive.
We ship in the order that keeps the game fun before the token exists. Each phase is unlocked by the community: through burns, through discoveries, through collective effort. Nothing is promised. Everything is earned.
4,000 miners generated. 3,333 curated. Rarity engine deployed. Metadata & art uploaded to Lighthouse IPFS. Website launched. Whitelist window closed after a large response.
Contract deployment on Robinhood Chain. Pre-reveal launches with the sealed mine entrance. Whitelist mint opens. Post-mint reveal via base URI swap. Secondary market goes live.
Miner staking vaults launch. Holders stake miners to earn OreLight Points (off-chain, non-transferable). Points convert 1:1 to $ORE at Token Generation Event. The economy begins.
Daily token reveals over 30 days. Contract audit published. Airdrop snapshot taken with loyalty multiplier applied. TGE. Liquidity opens on the largest Robinhood Chain DEX.
Seven-day launch event. Every $ORE burned in the Forge earns amplified drops and commemorative soulbound NFTs. Layer II unlock burn goal activates: 500,000 $ORE opens The Hollows.
Seasonal Faction Wars. Rune Hunt (100 hidden soulbound buffs). Cross-project OreLight Passport partnerships. Miner Skill Trees. Layer III, IV, and eventually The Core, unlocked only by collective burn.
The strongest Web3 projects are not run. They are held. Retro Miners is built on three commitments to the people who show up first.
Airdrops scale with holding time. 30 days = 1×. 90 days = 2×. Held from mint to snapshot = 3×. Paperhands earn base rate. The community that stays gets rewarded more than the one that flips.
Burn ratio, mint rate, active wallets, and treasury balance published weekly. If burn drops below mint for 2+ weeks, reward rates adjust immediately. No hidden emissions. No silent inflation.
No feature ships to speculators before it ships to players. The Bank opens before the token. Points precede $ORE. Fun before finance. Always, permanently, non-negotiably.
Deepvein has been buried for a long time. The mines are open now. Every pickaxe swing you take from here is written into the ledger. Come find what the Pickborne left behind.
